A New Chapter for Geometrica

Geometrica is pleased to announce a planned leadership transition as Francisco "Pancho" Castaño, founder of Geometrica, passes the role of Chief Executive Officer to Alejandro "Alex" Algara.

After more than 34 years leading the company, Pancho will continue serving Geometrica as Chairman of the Board. Under his leadership, Geometrica grew into a globally recognized leader in long-span domes, free-form structures, and clear-span solutions, delivering landmark projects across the mining, industrial, energy, and architectural sectors.

Alex has been part of Geometrica for more than 15 years, joining the company as an engineer and progressing through technical, commercial, and executive leadership roles. In recent years, as Vice President, he has overseen many of the company's most complex projects, strengthened internal processes, and worked closely with clients around the world.

This leadership transition reflects Geometrica's long-term commitment to continuity while building on the engineering excellence and client-focused approach that have defined the company since its founding.

With Pancho's continued guidance as Chairman of the Board and Alex's leadership as Chief Executive Officer, Geometrica looks ahead with confidence as it continues delivering world-class structural solutions around the globe.
