Picture essay -- Installation sequence for domes in Latvia


Geometrica recently completed two domes 183m long by 60m wide in the heart of Latvia, one to store limestone, and the other to store aggregates used in making cement. 

Each covering over 10,000 m2, the domes were designed to resist the fierce Baltic wind and snowstorms. Installation was performed by local crews under Geometrica's supervision. Geometrica's prefabricated system allows the structure to be assembled into large modules on the ground and then lifted into position and joined at the apex, as shown in this picture essay.
