THE GEOMETRICA CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM · 40+ COUNTRIES
Structural freedom: circular domes, barrel vaults, Freedome®, and space frames
We design, fabricate and erect custom domes and structures for mining, cement, industrial facilities, bulk storage, houses of worship, architecture and beyond.
Every structure, built to your exact needs
UNIQUE DESIGN
We meet every structural requirement with a fully customizable design. The engineering stays visible and becomes part of the architecture.
RELIABLE SUPPORT
Design, fabrication and erection under certified management systems that meet international standards.
LIGHTWEIGHT, PREFABRICATED COMPONENTS
High structural efficiency, faster erection and an earlier start to operations.
Lower total project cost
The savings go well beyond the structure itself, extending to logistics, equipment and time to startup.
Endless ways to shape a space
Framing pattern has an impact on a structure’s efficiency and esthetics. With Geometrica, your dome may be framed in a number of different patterns. Some examples include:
Circular
Large-volume storage around a central stacker, or venues without a single interior support.
Longitudinal
Long-span buildings for linear stockyards, with stackers and reclaimers running the length of the pile.
Freedome®
Free-form covers that adapt to the stockpile, the terrain and the equipment already in place.
Flat space frames
Flat or faceted space frames for hangars, terminals and buildings with straight roofs.
Over 200 meters. Not a single column.

Jeddah Superdome
JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA · EVENT VENUE
A venue with a completely open interior, where the structure itself becomes part of the architectural experience.

Coronel, Chile · Energy
A free-form cover for a thermal power plant's storage yard. The geometry was shaped around the existing stockpiles and equipment to enclose everything in a single clear span.

Functional and aesthetic spaces built to last
Store more or cover what you already have
We design the cover around your equipment or your yard, so you can add capacity or protect the material you already store.
A cleaner and better-protected site
Keep dust contained, shield your material from rain, wind and snow, and stay compliant with environmental regulations.
Wide-open space, no columns in the way
Use every square meter for your events or operations, with a smoother flow.
Built exactly as you pictured it
Our in-house software resolves complex and double-curved geometries, so the finished structure looks exactly as you envisioned it
Every process is audited
We work to international standards, so every component meets the demands of your project. We also test the materials on every job to verify their quality and specifications.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management across design, fabrication and service.
ISO 3834
Quality requirements for welding processes.
ISO 45001
Occupational health and safety, in the plant and on site.
EN 1090 · CE EXC3
Execution of steel and aluminum structures to Execution Class 3, one of the most demanding levels in the European standard.
We think about your entire project,
not just the structure
01
Conceptual design
We define the shape and size based on your needs and your site.
02
Specialized engineering
Every calculation is analyzed and reviewed by our engineers to deliver a safe, reliable space.
03
Certified fabrication
Prefabricated components with material testing on every project.
04
Built Safely, Start to Finish
Every structure is different, so we tailor the erection method to fit it: perimeter-first, apex-first, preassembled on the ground, or raised with a lifting tower.

Geometrica:
a connection as strong as the parts it joins
Geometrica was founded in 1992 to solve an engineering challenge: a structural connection that was strong, functional and adaptable to any design.
It all starts with a simple idea: a single hub where all members meet at the node, secured with just one bolt. Because the hub transfers bending moment, the same system can build circular, longitudinal, Freedome® and flat space frame structures.
Since then, we've refined it with our own software and fabrication equipment, and taken it to projects in more than 40 countries.
Frequently asked questions before every project
Don't see your question here? Get in touch and one of our specialists will get back to you.
-
From 50 m clear span structures to whatever size your project calls for. Every structure is tailored to the needs of your industry.
-
No. We design circular domes, longitudinal structures, free-form covers (Freedome®) and flat space frames. The system adapts to whatever geometry your project requires.
-
In many cases, yes. We design the structure around your stockpile and equipment, and plan erection so it can proceed alongside your operations. Feasibility is confirmed with a site review.
-
It depends on the size, geometry and site conditions. Because the structure is lightweight and prefabricated, erection is typically fast. Every proposal includes a construction schedule.
-
Every structure is engineered for the loads and building codes of its location, including extreme wind, seismic, snow and high-altitude conditions.
-
Metal sheeting, panels, glass, architectural fabric and even stone. We also integrate skylights, ventilation, access points and walkways.
-
Location, intended use or material to be stored or covered, approximate dimensions, existing equipment and, if available, site drawings. With that, one of our engineers can propose an initial solution.
-
We have completed projects in more than 40 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, with engineering, fabrication and erection teams supporting every project.
