Mr. Castaño founded Geometrica in 1992, and is the inventor of Freedome® structure technology. Under his leadership, Geometrica has completed projects in every continent, including the record-setting Nemak domes, the longest industrial domes in the world. He has several patents related to the Geometrica system and has guided the company to its current premier position in space frame and dome construction.

Mr. Castaño leads a distinguished operating team in Houston and a growing staff of more than 150 employees worldwide. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a MASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Ingeniero Civil degree from ITESM. He is Registered as a Professional Engineer in various States and in Mexico.
