Geometrica was destinguished with the 1997 CNIC Award (Premio de la Cámara Nacional de la Industria de la Construcción) for the structural design of it's Nemak manufacturing facilities. Each dome coveres an area of 17,900m2 with no internal supports and are the record holders for being the longest industrial dome enclosures in the world.
